1972 Ford Mustang Mach I Fastback Sport

Plus Taxes & Licensing

There is perhaps no better representative of the end of the muscle car era than the 1972 Ford Mustang Mach 1 Fastback. Introduced in 1969 as a means of enabling the Mustang to compete with GM’s Camaros and Firebirds, the Mach 1 evolved as a powerful car and a powerful statement over the course of its abbreviated five-year run.

This remarkable Mustang is a garage kept Georgia car finished in Ivy Glow with the Medium Green vinyl interior. The 351 CID 2V Cleveland V8 has just been rebuilt with new .030 over pistons and rings. The factory air has been converted to R-134, but the original fittings have been left for authenticity. The working odometer shows 112,650 miles. This car is fully restored and ready for show or driving.
